Due to the success of this transplant and my improving fitness I intend to continue with my fund raising expeditions.

Through these challenges I aim to:

~ Raise public awareness of kidney    related issues.
~ Increase the number of people on    the organ donation register.
~ Give hope and inspiration to    other renal and transplanted       patients.
~ Raise fund’s on behalf of Kidney    Research


"Four Peaks Cycle Challenge"

In May 2006 I cycled between each of the four highest mountains within the British Isles and climbed each peak, a distance of over 500 miles which took 3 weeks to complete. During this journey I visited renal and transplant units en route.


The four peaks are:

England
Wales
N. Ireland
Ben Nevis
Scafell
Snowdon
Slieve Donnard

This year I will undertake a series of events which come under the umbrella of “Challenge 2007”



“High Peak Challenge”
During July and August I will head out to the Alps to climb three of the highest peaks in Europe, These are:

Switzerland
/ Italy
France
Matterhorn
Monte Rosa
Mont Blanc

4634m
4807m

"New Zealand Challenge"
Towards the end of the year my brother and I will make an ascent of Mount Cook which at 3754m is New Zealand’s highest mountain.
